This is a digital download and NOT THE PHYSICAL PRODUCT. You can use this to print your own Solar Eclipse Filter Holder This is not for redistribution and only for your use.

Use these adapters to convert a cheap pair of solar eclipse glasses into a lens filter. This works with little to no vignette on a full frame camera with 70mm or longer lenses. Even on a wide lens it isn’t noticeable due to the edges being dark in the image anyway. The photo example is of full sun looking up at 3:15pm in Ohio. (We did not spend much time setting focus on the sun, but instead mostly captured the trees. It could have been sharper).

  • One version fits the Tamron 50-400 and is recommended to be printed in TPU.

  • The back clip is recommended to be printed in TPU. (If you do not have TPU, tape can hold the glasses piece on from the inside)

  • The threaded versions should be printed in PLA or PETG. (Any easy to print rigid material).

  • The square strap on version can be any material.

  • .2 or .16mm layer height is recommended for the threaded version.

  • .24 or higher is recommended for TPU

  • A guide video will be posted HERE soon. (4-6-2024, end of day)

  • A DIY printer free video will be published and linked here soon.
